Details of the Future Champions Cup races for 2005 are now available on the FCC website. This includes details of the selection races for the BOF junior tours and the Start Squad. Hilary Palmer has asked that the following points be stressed:

1. When the races are chosen we try to have a geographical spread.
2. It is not necessary to go to all the FCC races (juniors and their parents often complain that they have to chase round the country going to 8 races).
3. The selections for the Junior programme are usually based on the best 3 results for the 15s and the best 4 results for the 16s and 17s.
4. Whoever is doing the event entries (usually parents?) needs to look carefully to see which class their child/junior should enter.
5. For the FCC Final the qualifiers will be invited after the last qualifying race (at Penhale). I will be taking entries for the Middle race of the FCC Final but they should pre-enter for the Long race (spectator race at the World Cup) and they will be transferred to the FCC Final Class.
